Who we are
Sectech International is a trading name of Sec Tech Risk Management Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 15190402, with its registered office at 11-12 Old Bond Street, Mayfair, London W1S 4PN.
We are the data controller for the information described on this page. That means we decide why and how it is used.
What we collect
Only what you send us. If you complete the enquiry form, that is your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to write in the message. If you telephone or email us instead, it is whatever that exchange contains.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own, and no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
The enquiry form is provided by Pipedrive and runs in a frame from their servers. Loading it sets one cookie, named __cf_bm, which is Cloudflare's bot protection for that form. It lasts around thirty minutes, identifies nobody, and exists only to stop the form being abused by automated traffic.
Because that cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, it does not require your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. If we ever add analytics, we will ask first.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry and, if it goes further, to discuss and deliver the work. Nothing else. We do not add enquiries to a marketing list and we do not sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have contacted us about a service and expect a reply. Where an enquiry becomes an engagement, we process what is necessary to perform that contract.
Who else sees it
Enquiries submitted through the form are delivered into Pipedrive, the customer relationship system Sectech UK use to manage enquiries. Pipedrive acts as our processor and holds the data on our instructions.
Our email is provided by Microsoft. Both are bound by their own data protection terms and neither uses your enquiry for their own purposes.
We will disclose information if the law requires it. Otherwise we do not pass it to anyone.
Confidentiality
Given the nature of this work, discretion is the point. Enquiries are seen only by the people at Sectech who need to act on them, and we keep no record beyond what is necessary to respond and, where relevant, to deliver the work.
If you would rather not put something in writing, telephone instead.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Where we are engaged, we keep records for six years after the engagement ends, which is the period we may need them for legal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Ask by email or telephone and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
